Laundry and Washing Machines

Emmanuel Laundry

Students can have up to 12 lb of laundry cleaned free of charge in the college laundry every week. Washing is dropped off in the laundry in the basement of the hostel at the back of college (by Parker St) and can be picked up two days later. All clothes are washed at 40 degrees and tumble-dried. The minimum weight of laundry bags is 7 lb.

Washing Machines

For garments not suitable for the college laundry service there are three washing-machines in North Court that can be booked using a form in the Porters' Lodge. One of the washing machines is for the use of graduates only.

In addition to this, there are also washing machines in a number of the graduate houses.
