MCR dinners: planning and organization

Members will be emailed about upcoming dinners before sign-up opens, with details of the event and of when sign-up will be opened.

For normal dinners, MCR members can invite up to three guests each. For special dinners, one guest each will be allowed. If it looks like an event is likely to sell out or be very undersubscribed, the numbers of permitted guests may be reviewed.

Certain dinners (Black Tie, for example) use a table plan, organised using an online table planner. Those attending the dinner will be emailed by the Social Secretary to let them know when the table plan will be opened, and are asked to organize their seating groups in advance and to nominate one person to enter their group into the seating plan.
